Importance of the variety

Kunnan is variety cultivated for both fruit and vegetable purpose. The plants are medium-sized and slender. Fruits with firm pulp, taste well. Kunnan is a suitable variety for mixed cropping systems as it tolerates shady conditions. It has a shorter life cycle, and is tolerant to nematodes and leaf spot diseases. It bears a good bunch of 1416 kg. It also find a medicinal use in baby food preparation.
