Sree Kiran: It is a variety released from CTCRI, Trivandrum. First hybrid taro variety in India. Crop duration 6.5 – 7 months. Long keeping quality of cormets.

Sree Pallavi: It is a variety released from CTCRI, Trivandrum. Duration 6.5 – 7 months. Plants are tall (1-1.5 m). Low tillering type. Cormels small and more in number (20-25 per plant). Field tolerant to leaf blight and mosaic, club shape cormets. Yield 15 – 18 T / Ha. Starch 16-17 % and protein 2-3 % on fresh weight basis.

Sree Rashmi: It is a variety released from CTCRI, Trivandrum. Duration 7 -8 months. Plants are tall (100 – 150 cm). Crop responds well under low input levels. All plant parts are non acrid. Yield 15 – 20 T / Ha. Cormels have good cooking quality and excellent taste. Starch 15 % and protein 2.5 % on fresh weight basis.
