Coconut at 3rd Year onwards

The nutrient recommendation for Coconut (Average management) at 3rd Year onwards is 340:170:680 gram NPK/plant. The quantity of straight fertilizers to get the above dose is worked out.

The fertilizers dose needed is 738 gram urea, 944 gram rock phosphate and 1135 gram Muriate of Potash respectively per plant. The fertilizers have to be applied in split doses.

The first split has to be applied in April-June. The urea, rock phosphate, Muriate of Potash needed at this time is 245 gram, 314 gram, 378 gram respectively per plant.

The second dose has to apply in September-October and the dosage is 491 gram urea, 629 gram rock phosphate, 757 gram Muriate of Potash respectively.
