Paecilomyces fumosoroseus

Paecilomyces fumosoroseus is a fungus that cause disease in the insect body and kill them. It is considered a very promising biological pesticide due to its extensive host range which includes insects in over 25 different families.

Paecilomyces fumosoroseus infects the mites and insects upon contact and does not need to be consumed by the host to cause infection.

It is recommended against diamondback moth (Plutella xyllostella), silver leaf whitefly (Bemisia argentifolii) and wide range of mites (spotted spider mite, red mite, brown mite, and rust mite).

It is recommended for foliar application. The recommended dose of commercial formulation is 5 ml per litre of water.

Take care to store the bio control agents in cool places. Never mix it with chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Always use before the date of expiry.
