Jasmine-Fertilizer information

The nutrient recommendation for Jasmine is 30:60:60 gram NPK/plant. The quantity of straight fertilizers to get the above dose is worked out.

The fertilizers dose needed is 260 gram urea, 1332 gram rock phosphate and 400 gram Muriate of Potash respectively per plant. The fertilizers have to be applied in split doses.

The first split has to be applied in June. The urea, rock phosphate, Muriate of Potash needed at this time is 130 gram, 666 gram, 200 gram respectively per plant.

The second dose has to apply in January and the dosage is 130 gram urea, 666 gram rock phosphate, 200 gram Muriate of Potash respectively per plant.

This has to be supplemented with organic manures like neem cake, groundnut oil cake etc. @ 100 gram per plant per month. Lime or dolomite has to be applied in acid soils two weeks ahead of fertilizer application.
