Aarathi(ACV-1): Duration (120-135 Days ), Grain colour (Red), Station of release (Agricultural College, Vellayani) , Characteristics (Seed dormancy upto one month. Recommended for southern region for virippu season for delayed sowing and for situations where over-aged seedling may have to be planted. Moderately resistant to sheath blight, sheath rot and BPH).

Remya (MO-10): Duration (110 – 120 Days ), Grain colour (Red, long bold), Station of release (RRS, Moncombu) , Characteristics (Moderately resistant to BPH, gall midge, sheath blight and sheath rot, semi-tall variety. Suitable for all the three seasons. Seed dormancy upto one month.).

Uma (MO-16): Duration (115 – 130 days (Punja) 120 – 135 days (Virippu)), Grain colour (Red. medium bold), Station of release (RRS, Moncombu) , Characteristics (Non-lodging, resistant to BPH and Gall Midge bold Biotype – 5. Dormancy upto 3 weeks. Suited  to three seasons especially to additional crop season  of Kuttanad.).

Kumbham (KTR-3): Duration (165-175 Days ), Grain colour (Red, short bold), Station of release (ORARS, Kayamkulam) , Characteristics (Photosensitive, tolerant to lodging; suitable for eastern lateritic region; II crop component in koottumundakan system).
