Ahalya(Cul 10-10): Duration (90 – 100 Days ), Grain colour (Red), Station of release (ARS, Mannuthy) , Characteristics (Good cooking quality, tolerant to leaf folder and moisture stress in the early growth phase).

Annapoorna(PTB-35): Duration (95-100 Days ), Grain colour (Red, short bold), Station of release (RARS, Pattambi) , Characteristics (Suitable for direct seeding. Susceptible to blast, sheath blight and BPH. Suited for I and III crop seasons. ).

Aruna(MO-8): Duration (100-110 Days ), Grain colour (Red, short bold), Station of release (RRS, Moncombu) , Characteristics (Tolerant to BPH and stem borer moderately resistant to gall midge. Sheath rot. Dormancy up to one month. Specifically suited to wet season. ).

Kanchana (PTB-50): Duration (105-110 Days ), Grain colour (Red, long bold), Station of release (RARS, Pattambi) , Characteristics (Suitable for kole and Kuttanad regions. Resistant to blight, blast, stem borer and gall midge. Suitable for all seasons).

Karthika (MO-7): Duration (105-110 Days ), Grain colour (Red, long bold), Station of release (RRS, Moncombu) , Characteristics (Suitable for growing in all three seasons. Moderate resistance to sheath blight, sheath rot and BPH. A good first crop component in Koottumundakan ).

Krishanajana (MO-19): Duration (105-110 Days ), Grain colour (Red, medium bold), Station of release (RRS, Moncombu) , Characteristics (Medium tillering resistant to BPH and dormancy upto 3 weeks. Suited to all seasons  especially to kari lands of Kuttanad, tolerant to iron toxicity).

Dormancy up to one month. Specifically suited for wet season. Can be cultivated in all the three seasons.).
