Aiswaraya(PTB-52): Duration (120 – 125 Days ), Grain colour (Red, long bold), Station of release (RARS, Pattambi) , Characteristics (Suitable for modan. Resistant to blast and blight diseases.  Resistant to BPH. Suited for first and second crop seasons).

Karthika (MO-7): Duration (105-110 Days ), Grain colour (Red, long bold), Station of release (RRS, Moncombu) , Characteristics (Suitable for growing in all three seasons. Moderate resistance to sheath blight, sheath rot and BPH. A good first crop component in Koottumundakan ).

Samyuktha (PTB-59): Duration (112 – 117 Days ), Grain colour (Red, short bold), Station of release (RARS, Pattambi) , Characteristics (Suitable for Koottumundakan system of cultivation with Makaram in Central zone.).

Swarnaprabha (PTB-43): Duration (105-110 Days ), Grain colour (White, long bold), Station of release (RARS, Pattambi) , Characteristics (Suited for upland (modan) and for all the three seasons in the wet-lands. Susceptible to sheath blight and bacterial blight. Moderately resistant to stem borer. A good first crop component in koottumundakan).

Vaishak (PTB60): Duration (117-125 Days ), Grain colour (Red, short bold), Station of release (RARS, Pattambi) , Characteristics (Suitable for direct seeding during Kharif season in the uplands. Tolerant to moisture stress, resistant to blue beetle, moderate resistance to stem borer and whorl maggot).
