Removal of weeds is very much important for proper growth and yield. The first weeding has to be done 4 weeks after sowing and second weeding after 50 days.

The second dose of fertilizer has to apply in 30 days after sowing.

Since the plant is of trailing type, providing 1-1.5 meter long support is very much necessary. Stake the plants on 30th day after sowing.

Irrigation is done immediately after sowing and again on third day and thereafter once in a week.
