Muttom varikka: It is a firm fleshed and sweet scented variety. The variety is cultivated widely in Kerala.

Sindhoor: Highly sweet variety with attractive sunset orange coloured flakes. Bear medium sized fruits twice a year. Fruit weight 11-12 kg.

Singapore or Srilanka jack: It is an introduced variety of jack from Srilanka. It bears fruits in 3 years after planting and is extremely short in habit. A tree may yield as many as 250 fruits. Fruits are medium in size each weighing 7-10 kg. The carpels are crisp, sweet, yellow with strong pleasant aroma.  Fruits will be available from March –June and again from September to December.
