Neem oil emulsion is mainly recommended against sucking pest in home gardens. It is also effective against beetles, plant hoppers, caterpillars, etc.

The materials needed for preparing one litre of the mixture is neem oil (20 ml), bar soap (5 gram). Instead of bar soap one packet of shampoo sachet can also be used.

Dissolve 5 gram of soap in 50 ml of boiled water. Take 20 ml of neem oil and add it to the soap solution. Add water to make the solution one litre. Stir for some time to have uniform mixing of the ingredients. This can be sprayed in plants at regular intervals.
