Seedless variety

F I Shonima: It is a variety released from College of Horticulture, Vellanikkara of KAU. Red fleshed triploid hybrid, produced fruits with high TSS and fruits were characterized by deep red flesh without any seeds. Days to harvest 96. Fruit weight 3.84 kg. TSS 10.8 brix. No of fruits per plant 3.22. Yield per plant 12.34 kg.

F I Swarna: It is a variety released from College of Horticulture, Vellanikkara of KAU.  It is a yellow fleshed seedless hybrid, is the first of its kind developed in India. Days to harvest 98. Fruit weight 3.43 kg. TSS 10.3 brix. No of fruits per plant 3.15. Yield per plant 10.27 kg.

Seeded variety

Arka Jyothi: It is a variety released from IIHR, Bangalore. It is a mid season variety. The fruits are round; rind colour is light green with dark green stripes and crimson coloured flesh. Average fruit weight is 6-8 kg.

Sugar Baby: It is a variety released from IARI, New Delhi. Crop duration 85 days. The fruits are slightly small in size; round shaped having bluish black rind and deep pink flesh with small seeds. Average weight is 3-5 kg.
